What does healthy mean?

 

Healthy (pronounced ˈhelθi) is something which helps you stay well. It means khoẻ mạnh in Vietnamese. Healthy food helps you live longer and feel better. The opposite of healthy is "unhealthy".

 

It is an adjective, which means it goes before a noun (person place or thing) or after the verb "to be" .

 

Sample sentences:

Huy is very healthy. He eats good food, exercises and never gets ill.

 

The Vietnamese eat a lot of healthy food, like green vegetables, fish and fresh fruit.
